I’ve just spent the weekend around Cronulla Beach in the Sydney suburbs for the finals of the Red Bull junior surf masters. After 2 weeks of relatively no swell it was good to see that at least a little swell had developed for the competition. Brett Burcher was the eventual winner from todays finals and [...] I don’t often manage to wake up for sunrise, i didn’t even manage it last weekend when i was camping on a beach with only the unzipping of a tent required. This morning i made one. Got up at 5.30am and trundled down to the beach for sunrise. Only question is now, at 7.27 do [...] I’m supposed to have travelled over to Falls Creek resort for Stylewars competition held this week, but unsavoury weather has led to me changing plans and staying put around Sydney. A slightly more relaxed schedule has led to the finer things in life; a weekend camping down the coast with night time beach golf, bouncy [...] Its amazing what can be achieved if you take a couple of days out of your life and dedicate them to travelling….. Without a doubt this was the favourite moment of the first flight. 6.55am, 12,000 meters above Penang off the coast of Malaysia. Having finally caught up on some sleep i can now look forward to a hectic weekend tying up loose ends before i bid farewell to this years summer and head to the winter. Its going to be my first time in Australia for 9 years so can’t wait to get stuck in down there. Before [...] Today is my recovery day after the Big Chill Festival which was this weekend. With hundreds of shots of musicians to wade through i thought i’d share some night time images which were taken predominately on Saturday night. The whole of Saturday was alcohol free for me so i took advantage of the fact and [...] It’s quite a strange feeling having a laptop at a music festival, it goes against the whole idea of letting go for the weekend. As i have mine here though i think i’ll show you a couple of more images from last night. The zombies came, as did the rain but with beautiful sunshine and [...] I’m just at Big Chill music festival with a load of Zombies. It’s been a very quiet couple of weeks back in Chester and i find myself updating my Computer and lighting equipment before my Australia trip which will begin in two weeks time. I’ll be off to the Big Chill music festival later this week where they’ll be some Zombie madness going on (will explain at [...] |
