The last few days i’ve been having a rejig of my online portfolio removing old images, adding recent work and generally changing my mind every couple of minutes. I’d love you guys to check it out and let me know what you think. I’m always after constructive criticism so welcome any comments that may bound [...] Rumours have been floating around for a week or so now regarding one of my good friends Michaela Davis-Meehan who hurt herself during training at the Roxy Chicken Jam, an all girls snowboard competition over in Mammoth resort. She’s just put the rumours to rest on her website letting people know that she has indeed [...] It always seems to be the way that when the season is in full swing regular blogging reduces to a bar minimum. I’ve been based over in Breckenridge, Colorado for the last few months and have been loving experimenting with my new camera gear that i’ll talk about in another post as work starts to [...] In between winter seasons i try to keep myself as fit as possible and this year running seems to be the trend that i’m in with right now. Regular readers of the blog will know that i’ve run a number of half marathons and the Eurasia Marathon, over in Istanbul during October. Since then i’ve [...] Mick Fanning won his second ASP tour over the weekend at Pipeline in Hawaii. By all accounts he’s had an awesome year. Back in August i had the chance to watch him in the water while he had a free surf at Cronulla beach in Sydney. Even in small waves he destroyed everything there was. [...] My time in Australia is coming to an end this week and i can start to reflect on my super productive trip. I’ve managed to spend 6 weeks here without a single night in a hotel instead staying with friends and their hospitable families. Now, when i think of accommodation i’ve stayed in over the [...] I don’t often manage to wake up for sunrise, i didn’t even manage it last weekend when i was camping on a beach with only the unzipping of a tent required. This morning i made one. Got up at 5.30am and trundled down to the beach for sunrise. Only question is now, at 7.27 do [...] I’m supposed to have travelled over to Falls Creek resort for Stylewars competition held this week, but unsavoury weather has led to me changing plans and staying put around Sydney. A slightly more relaxed schedule has led to the finer things in life; a weekend camping down the coast with night time beach golf, bouncy [...] It’s been a very quiet couple of weeks back in Chester and i find myself updating my Computer and lighting equipment before my Australia trip which will begin in two weeks time. I’ll be off to the Big Chill music festival later this week where they’ll be some Zombie madness going on (will explain at [...] So my blog has officially reached it’s first birthday and i’m so happy that the powers that be have gifted me a great birthday present.
