Two windows

When I first moved to switzerland I lived in a furnished apartment with only two windows. While the decor may have screamed 1950, and the hallways begged for an update, there was something so magical looking out those panes of glass.

This was the view out of the front window. Yes, that’s right. This was the view that made me forget about all of the apartment quirks.

This was window number two - the bedroom. Not quite the vast lake of the front window, but a castle is a good second place.

“More space, more modern, more balconies, more parking, more storage, more rooms—there’s a lot to look forward to in a new apartment. But I will miss that view.”
